Location scouting, prop building, and costuming consume my mind for a simple :45 second clip. Taking the time to work this out, ask around, work on this kind of thing, even subconsciously, keep my brain alive. Rolling this into something cool and fun; that’s what I like to do. All it takes is the teeniest of impetus to start the fire. Hopefully I can keep the snow ball down the hill, and create the avalanche I need to sustain my brain, my heart, and my sanity. Depending on the wind, I can be easily derailed. Right now, right here – I want to stay on the path of creation and positivity.

I know when I’m on the right path when it becomes visual in my imagination. I can see the piece exactly how I want it, each shot in succession, the angles, the cuts, and the rhythm. It’s like a recurring movie in my skull, playing over and over.

Just gotta make it real. And I just got word that in December – we’re full on for the return of Uncle Pete’s Playtime!

“I tell you how I feel, but you don’t care. I say tell me the truth, but you don’t dare. You say love is a hell you cannot bear. And I say gimme mine back and then go there – for all I care “
