Snow. Cold. Work. God, I need a vacation. When I say ‘vacation’, I mean time to work on my own projects obsessively for hours at a time. I put out the latest Movie Cliche podcast and based on a few screenings, I’m not happy with it. It looks amazing, but I am probably going to create an alternate version. I had the actors do improv, far more outrageous takes. I think I should use them. That means time, going backwards, although I think it will be worth it. I have even more greenscreen material to shoot. New script in progress for that, scheduling that for possible Thursday or Friday. Getting a backlog of footage shot whilst in the zone and passionate, then putting off the edit until I find the time is my new method.

I’d rather have a lot of footage wracked up then find time to edit then find time and have nothing I can do about it. Editing requires fewer people than a shoot. So, logic dictates I get as much shooting done as possible when the opportunity avails itself.
