Got a new edit system. I doubled my RAM, doubled the CPU, and moved my 10 terabytes of storage over. Upgraded to Adobe CS6, been sitting on the discs for this for a while. It’s working well for me and to be honest, the speed increase is noticeable when I do graphics and animations. Since I am about to tackle a few graphics intensive projects for myself, it times out well. Right about now, the 3D animations I am capable of tackling are in the queue for the near future. Been putting one of these off for over a year. Time to get jiggy with it. Started tinkering as a test for the new system and got lost in the options and look for about 4 hours when I should have been sleeping.

Life is grand. I feel fantastic, physically and mentally. Rossland continues to bring me joy. Whether it is enjoying (albeit subjectively) a Hobbit movie in the home theater or playing with a kitten in an empty PC box; home feels warm and fuzzy all the time. I keep tweaking the homestead. Could be a new chair, new drapes, a little paint, or a small piece of art, but I never stop adjusting.

I have nothing to really complain about right now. That feels good.

“And now we meet in an abandoned studio
We hear the playback and it seems so long ago
And you remember the jingles used to go”
