Finalizing 3 whole episodes of FRAMELINES today. Because of the render times and global warming, I got out to walk for an hour or two as well. So strange to have almost 60 degree weather in late January. The next step, as always, is to get the episodes transcribed and then closed captioning. Broadcast follows within a few weeks of that. The new Tech Tips are doing well. I am so happy with the end results of both of them. What comes after that has me really excited.

I’m going to release all the raw footage, most of it in 4K, with some interactive tutorials. One of “L-Cuts” and the other just on cutting some action/horror bits. I was really happy with the previous interactive tutorials, so making more of them just made sense.

Several colleges, from Australia to New Orleans are using the footage and projects in their multimedia and film classes, so I wanted to up my game and do something wicked sick. I feel like I got something with these two upcoming interactive tutorials.

That all natural high continues all week. A lot of bad habits ceased as I hunkered down into the love of my work. The insatiable lust for completing works sustains me more than anything else. I did sneak out and see 2 Oscar contenders with week, SPOTLIGHT and THE REVENANT. Loved both. Now it’s time to get back into the 3rd episode and put the final touches on it before export.

“Would you know my name
If I saw you in heaven?
Would it be the same
If I saw you in heaven?
I must be strong and carry on
‘Cause I know I don’t belong here in heaven”
– Eric Clapton
