Practice. Learning this drone stuff is hard. I just have to keep at it, keep flying it and shooting random things to get better at controlling it, the camera, and getting the shots. I have been busy, but not busy. My mind is both blank and occupied. What an odd stasis for my life to be in at the moment. I cracked the good habit thing. I started writing a scene a day for the feature length script for the some point in the future. No idea if I’ll ever make it. I have hopes. It’s just a good habit to form to write a scene a day, even if I eventually tear it apart and re-write it several times.

Now to do the same with writing that next book that has been in my head for several years. I will try to add that to the writing line up as well, getting to a chapter a day as well. It’s a nonfiction book, not narrative. It’s some what analysis and predictive about media and the future.

I have a big interactive project to get done for FRAMELINES as well as a few new Sonnyboo Podcasts, some of which will be shot in the next week or two. I plan on playing with animation quite a bit on these, learning the ins and outs of character facial animation with lip-synching.

I plan on getting a few more flights in this coming week. I tricked out my drone with the prop guards, the WiFi enhancements for the antennae, a cover guard for the remote with labels for the functions, and extra propellers as well.

The future is a strange thing for me right now. It’s not clear where exactly I am headed. I just know big changes are in store for me. One way or another, I will be somewhere else in the not so distant future. No matter where I end up, things are looking brighter.

“Darkest of night
With the moon shining bright
There’s a set goin’ strong
Lotta things goin’ on
The man of the hour
Has an air of great power
The dudes have envied him for so long”
