Screenwriting has begun. Storyboard and concept art started last night. Delays may have just hit, but I stand ready to cope. More prep time is not bad. I just do not want to allow myself to get derailed. When inspiration hits, you have to take the lumps. Got 2 interviews shot for FRAMELINES segments. The latest season of FRAMELINES looks to be progressing fast in terms of wrapping up loose ends. Getting these interviews to go with B-Roll from a year ago just feels good. I’ve got a document and a spreadsheet outlining everything shot so far, intending to be shot, what has been edited, what has been used already in episodes, and even possible stories.

I want to get every single episode in the queue finished before the end of the year. It’s doable. It’s ambitious. Paid work will slow down enough to pull this off methinks. Ramping up production of narrative pieces during the slow time means getting caught up everywhere in my various queues.

Budgeting life as a grown up with a mortgage and car payment means not buying toys I used to like. A lot less blu rays, a lot less eating out; all of this is not a bad thing. it just means adjusting to the time. Strangely, the food thing is barely an issue since I’ve been finding cooking so therapeutic and enjoyable.

Time to get back to work.

“I bet we been together for a million years,
And I bet we’ll be together for a million more.

Oh, It’s like I started breathing on the night we kissed,
And I can’t remember what I ever did before.

What would we do baby, Without Us? “
