And here I thought leaving the school would have given me more free time. Couldn’t have been more wrong. A non-stop whirlwind of post work, shoots, and meetings awaited me from the first moment on. I haven’t had time to breathe. I was really hoping to get some rest and relaxation at some point. We’ve got a taping next week for FRAMELINES, getting some more panel discussions recorded. We’re in the big studio and that will be nice. The panelists will make for a nice conversation on cinematography.

I am shooting on the greenscreen next Wednesday. Both some things for my Podcasts, plus some for a friend. I like seeing the gear being used rather than collecting dust. Rolling out the teleprompter, setting up the lights, and rigging out the camera are all inspiring acts to me.

My cats are acting out a lot since I’m not home as much. Traveling and spending time in northern Ohio lately makes me miss the little ones, but work is work. I’ve gotten to shoot some OSU Buckeye legends, some people working on fascinating materials for documentaries, and of course cute girls doing silly things. I get paid and love what I do.

“You need a change from
What you do all day
Ain’t no sense in all your crying
Just pick it up and throw it into shape

Hey you, won’t you listen
This is not the end of it all
Don’t you see there is a rhythm
I’ll take you where you
Really need to be “
