FINALLY! We’re shooting Uncle Pete Phase Two today! We prelit the greenscreen and did some basic setup yesterday. George flew in from LA, I’ve dusted off the pinwheel hat, and it’s time to make with the funny. Here’s another in a long line of material I am stockpiling for 2014. Goodbye sleep, I’ve got movies to make. I love this. I’m so busy I almost forgot the all new episodes of FRAMELINES start airing on MONDAY night. Nothing came of the press releases. That’s okay, FRAMELINES is extremely niche. I haven’t done the national print media press release yet, trying to get some magazine coverage for FRAMELINES. Maybe something will come from that instead since that is far more appropriate for the exact audience we’re aiming at.

In the coming weeks, I will plot out everything I need for the rest of the Movie Cliché series. I plan to take things up a few notches in terms of quality and standard. I plan to spend a little money on this and make the 13 month delay worth the wait.

Sometimes it is better to have no project at all than to have something below par. I want to make things better than I made them before. I am not satisfied with what I have made. I strive to improve my skills, make things worthy of the promotion I put towards them.

Now that the weather is turning nice, I’ve been getting to the parks and walking again. Since I go to the gym, my stamina is much better, but I was still disappointed I needed a few days of walking to get back to where I was at last fall. Last night, though I tore that up at the park with speed and time. I still have weight to shed off, a lot of it.

My mantra rings in my ears today. BE A BETTER MAN. I want to remain positive. I’m shedding the cancerous people from my view. I won’t be deterred by nonsense. I want to spend my time making something and feeling the joy creation brings.

What do you spend your time doing?

“Nothing you can make that can’t be made. No one you can save that can’t be saved. Nothing you can do but you can learn how to be you in time. It’s easy.”
– The Beatles
