Inundated with paid work, FRAMELINES still wrapping things up, and being sick has made your faithful narrator less than available for trivialities. Prep work on my short film have stalled as I get my work ducks in a row. I have storyboards, a revised script, and so many elements in place. I detest that life has monkey wrenched these plans. We’re about to start a massive promotion for FRAMELINES in the near future. I am planning on releasing new material, new projects, and a wrap party/screening. We’ve put off doing the “thank you” party and screening for some of the filmmakers we have profiled for a few years. I think it was 2011 the last time we did anything like that. Given the amount of material we’ve amassed and the new direction FRAMELINES is headed, the time is nigh.

The Interactive Projects are prepped and ready to unleash. I’ve left my marketing to a minimum of late and this is something in need of correction. Having something worthy of said promotion motivates this better. I hope this Interactive Project plan plays well with film enthusiasts out there.

I have been seeing more movies, getting out more, and even enjoying the incredibly odd warm weather, something very odd for February in Ohio. My body is badly out of shape again. Not as bad as I have let it go in the past, and yet I feel compelled to get a gym membership again, which I did yesterday. Going swimming here shortly.

I brought my Glidecam Crane 200 home. I need to fix it and get it working properly again. I want to start shooting little things again, almost anything, just to practice shooting and editing narrative, almost experimental things. I love the smoothness of the crane shots, and in some ways, a camera can just live on that, even for the static shots, then quickly get to moving shots.

Not too enthused for the Oscars this year. It just doesn’t seem relevant too much anymore. Still, a great excuse to have several people over to drink and have a good time. Going to enjoy the giant huge 4K TV and the nice home theater setup.

I was too sick last week to go to Indieclub Cleveland and present some FRAMELINES material. Maybe next month.

“It’s getting late have you seen my mates
Ma tell me when the boys get here
It’s seven o’clock and I want to rock
Want to get a belly full of beer
My old man’s drunker than a barrel full of monkeys
And my old lady she don’t care
My sister looks cute in her braces and boots
A handful of grease in her hair
Oh, don’t give us none of your aggravation
We had it with your discipline
Oh, Saturday night’s alright for fighting”
